The swanky L.A. vibe (read: ornate concrete bar and Himalayan oak top communal tables) is a chic addition to the conservative outskirts of banking central. Both resto and art gallery, praise works from the likes of local tattooist Rodney Raines, as well as the entire book, The Art of War, scrolled on the ceiling. Cheeky accents like sexual innuendos written in between the lines of the tome tickle your fancy, while the American menu by one of Charlotte’s finest chefs, Jamie Lynch, most recently of Barringtons in South Park, alongside Bacon Chocolate-tinis entice your tastebuds.
